Jail Ministry Stories

It has been 3 years round and about I have been hooked up with Merced County Jail Ministry. To say life has not had ups and downs in between would be a lie. Please remember as you raise up in the Lord , the devil will use all kinds of tools to break you. I have been blessed needless to say to be plugged in with an amazing sisterhood and ministry that from day one has shown me what the love of Christ truly means as well. Gina and her team and love for Christ was the beginning of the start of my journey and foundation in Christ.

Our team was able to go to the Chaplains Summit in Chicago, Illinois at Wheaton College. We had a great time building relationships and learning how to better serve our community.

Chaplains Gina Thomas and Jacque Cauwels spoke with the ladies from the United Methodist Church in Merced. They donated a $200 check for the ministry, and paperback books for the women.

We’re so grateful for their generous donations!
